What Does It Mean To Be CatholicFIT?

CatholicFIT was created for two reasons:
- To come together as a community and explore the faith and fitness connection – I believe in this “trinity” of faith, family and fitness as each one lends strength to the others. We all have the goal of living a “healthy lifestyle”, why not use this lifestyle approach to strength our family and community, and to learn about one’s faith, in particular, the genius of Catholicism.
- To offer good fitness to the Catholic community – every human has the right to learn how to take care of his or her body, yet as PE curriculums and other health services are shrinking, we are losing the health and fitness battle. We hope to continue partnering with schools and health care systems to develop programs and resources to help people of all ages and stages of life to move, feel and play better.
